The B1 Preliminary (formerly known as PET or Preliminary English Test) and B1 Preliminary for Schools are English language exams designed for learners at the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Both exams follow the same format and content but are targeted at different audiences.
